New Girls Aloud single, Pink album, King Boulder video and Sneaky Sound System @ The Scala
September 12, 2008
Christopher Sharkie left Popblog a comment flagging up King Boulder – he’s totally right, there’s something really endearing about the King Boulder track, even though there’s equally something very weird about it.
The video however, is genius, with a big furry orange puppet – check it out here:
I’m not so much into posting clips from gigs, but this was filmed by the guy standing next to me last night at the Scala. Sneaky Sound System blew the roof off – the best gig I’ve been to this year by a mile. The lead vocalist, Connie something has sung for Kanye West and she is incredible, just so cool. It was a real party in there last night, possibly fuelled by the fact there were more Australians in there than in Sydney and we all know Ozzie’s know how to party
Here’s a clip of their only cover on the night, Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This:
Pink’s new album is apparently called ‘Funhouse’, we need to get our hands on a copy of that one, can someone send us a copy through? Talking of new, the next Girls Aloud single will be premiered on Radio 1 this Sunday, a gold star for anyone who can send me a link and make me happy J
